Ask for reviews with a QR card

Let a happy customer leave a review before they walk out.

  1. Point at one review destination

Open Reputation and connect your business profile, or set the agreed review link. Connecting a Google profile requires you to be a verified owner or manager of it; if you are not, finish that with Google first and use a plain review link in the meantime.

  2. Test the link before you print anything

Open the review link on a phone, signed in the way a customer would be, and check that it lands on your business and offers the review box. A wrong or unverified destination is the usual reason a review never appears.

  3. Turn it into a card for the counter

Open the QR code tool in your workspace; depending on your configuration it sits under Sites or Marketing. Create a code that points at the review link, name it so you recognize it later, download it at the largest size offered, and put it on a card with one line of your own, such as: Enjoyed today? Scan to leave a review.

  4. Ask at the right moment, the same way every time

Ask when the job is finished and the customer is still in front of you, by handing over the card or sending the request from the Requests area. Do not screen people first and do not offer anything in return: filtering for positive reviews and paying for reviews both break Google's rules, and can cost you the reviews you already have.

Check your result

Scanning the card opens the review page for your own business, ready to write in, and every customer is offered it on the same terms.
